Hi, I'm Anna Dietrichson, but you can call me Anna D. , Welcome!

Anna Dietrichson's Bio:

Greetings, all. My name is Anna D., and I am a lover of storytelling and all things visual. In the last four years, I have realized my passions are not concrete and clear-cut, but they are ever-changing and cross over into many different professional fields. As I graduate in May I can see myself pursuing an array of different professions, i.e. Editor, Producer, Production Designer, Documentarian, Music Video Producer, Travel Writer (what?), or possibly an urban Coffee Shop Owner....Am I confused? yes. Am I scared? A little bit. Am I ready? You better believe it. My interests are vast and varying but one thing I am certain of is that I have a great thirst for this world. I want to learn as much as I can about as many things as possible and in doing so, travel to as many locations and meet as many people I can. Life is short and I measure my wealth not in the dollars in my bank account but in the experiences and adventures that make up my own personal narrative. I live my life following a few short, but very persuasive mantras: - Que Sera, Sera (its true though) - Carpe Diem (cliche, but real talk.) - You have as many minutes in a day as Beyonce (tough one to swallow) Thanks for taking a look at my profile, and Namaste :)   - Anna Dietrichson

  • DJ and Host at KTCU 88.7 The Choice

I was a DJ and Host for KTCU, my college's very own radio station. It was pretty much a dream come true. I was a DJ three days a week for hour and a half slots but the real treasure was my thursday night show from 11pm-1am when I got to play all my favorite tunes and talk about the newest hits, where to find them, and upcoming shows to see the artists live. As a very passionate music lover and one who isn't necessarily afraid to speak up, this was a perfect job for me. some of the things I did: o Prepared a playlist and talking points for live show o Interviewed guest artists and musicians for live and pre-recorded segments o Monitored radio towers and recorded tower readings and statistics

  • Newsroom Intern at WFAA Channel 8 News

During my senior year of high school, I was accepted into the Professional Internship Program (PIP), where high school students were granted high-level internships that normally were only allotted to College seniors. I was placed in the Newsroom with journalism majors and soon realized how completely bonkers you have to be to want to be a journalist. It was a madhouse every day so I snuck away to the graphics department and made friends with board operator as well. I ended up learning quite quickly how much I enjoy Adobe Creative Suite when the 6-hour day started feeling like 45 minutes. I owe a lot of my current work to the people at WFAA who let me pursue my interests during my time there.
